Having sold out this tour for 2024 we are proud to offer it for 2025. Join us on a mesmerizing 13-day photography excursion that delves into the real charm of Bhutan, a secluded kingdom where tradition and spirituality thrive amidst awe-inspiring landscapes. Our journey starts in Kathmandu, spending one night before boarding an early flight to Paro. This marks the start of an unforgettable voyage into the core of the Himalayas.
In Thimphu, the tranquil capital of Bhutan, we delve into the spiritual atmosphere of age-old monasteries, capturing the essence of Buddhist devotion and architectural splendor. Our adventure progresses as we enjoy the vivid colors and community spirit of the local festivals held this time of the year, providing a window into the traditional customs and rituals of Bhutan.
Subsequent days offer us close interactions with monks and craftspeople practicing age-old arts passed down through generations.
As we head East, even further off the tourist trail, to Bumthang we will partake in two local festivals that display the intricate mosaic of Bhutanese culture, dance, and music.
To avoid retracing our route, we will take a flight back to Paro, setting the stage for the dramatic climb to the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery. Situated precariously on a cliff, this hallowed site offers much more than a photographic haven.
As we make our way back to Kathmandu, signaling the conclusion of our expedition, we depart not only with memory cards full of spectacular images, but also memories that will last a lifetime.
